  1. The First Time at my Grandfathers By, Mary Claire

  2. Once upon a time I was in my room sewing an apron for my Halloween costume. I love to sew.

  3. . • Suddenly, my mom started to scream! I ran down into the kitchen and she was talking on the phone. • She finished talking and said, “We are going to your grandfather’s house!” • “What is so exciting about that,” I asked

  4. Once we were a mile away I noticed we were not on the road. Our car was flying in the air! Finally, we got there and we were in a kingdom. I was really excited now. We walked in the palace.

  5. “There is your grandfather,” said mom pointing at the throne. I could not believe it. • “My grandfather is the king,” I asked. Before my mom could answer my grandfather stood up, ran toward me, and started hugging me.

  6. “I have not seen you since you were a baby,” he said! “I will show you where you will be sleeping,” he said. When we got in my room all I could see a huge bed with a canopy. I was getting ready for bed when I heard something. It was a dragon!

  7. The next day I went into the forest to pick berries. I saw a fairy. She asked me if I had a wish and I said, “Can you make the dragon go away,” I asked? “Yes,” answered the fairy.

  8. “Yes,” answered the fairy. When I went back to the palace the dragon was gone. Everybody was thanking me and my grandfather gave me a piece of gold. I can’t believe it.

  9. “It is time to go,” my mom said. She took me home to my two friends for Halloween. We lived happily ever after!
