  5. Sandal Verbs o-u, e-i Note: About this category … 1. The verbs are all“-ir” verbs. 2. The “-ir” verb must be a stem- changing or boot verb in the present tense. 3. Changes happen to the verb stem.

  7. Sandal Verbs Triple-Vowel Verbs I › Y Changes happen to the verb ending. leer leíleímosleísteleísteis leió leieron leyeron leyó In regular conjugation, both of these have “triple vowels.” We change the “I” to a “Y.” Single-syllable triple-vowel verb stems have accent marks on all the “I’s!

  10. IRREGULARS Group 3: Irregular J-Stems endings Decir Conducir Producir Traer - dij- conduj- -e -imos -iste -isteis -o -eron produj- traj- • These verbs stems use the same special endings, BUT there is no “i” in -ieron.
