Fruit Fly Racing a game by Corey Davison & Chris Brown

Overview • A – B racing game with skewed top down view • Two player turn Based • Throw fruit accurately to attract flies to progress through course to finish first! • Inspiration from games such as Fruit Ninja, Winter/Summer Games & Swarm

Game Flow • Players race through several themed courses • Fruit & Vegetables are thrown by the players • Fruit flies are attracted to the thrown item from the last item thrown • Poor throws (too far) attract less flies • Players must avoid obstacles and poor throws to win • Points are awarded at the end of each course according to finishing place & flies remaining • Most points wins!

Mechanics • PC keyboard controls • Fruit throwing strength determined by accurately timing a key press to an on screen moving strength indicator bar • Players can aim throw direction left or right Visuals • Stylised graphics for backgrounds and assets • Mixture of 2D interface (menus) and 3D levels
