  2. Things to consider • Legal – Some countries have different laws to western nations. It’s therefore important to ensure the game falls within these laws. • Political – It’s important to conform to political views of the countries the game is being distributed in. If not it’s likely the game will be banned. • Ethical – It’s important to consider the views of the people you’re making the game for. Some countries could be in a war find such games disturbing. • Cultural – Similarly, some countries do not accept western cultural ways, therefore it’s important to cater the game appropriately to the audience in question. • Economical – You must consider how the game will be distributed to people in these less developed countries. • Sociocultural

Learning through games • H.I.V awareness – Games can educate people about the dangers of H.I.V and teach them how to avoid catching it. • Communication skills – Players can learn how to communicate with those they are not familiar with. • Mathematics – Games can teach players math skills in a fun way. • Cultural differences – A game can teach the player about different cultures. • Problem solving – Players of a problem solving game can learn new skills and also general “Brain training” • Music – Games can teach players musical skills, this can also expose the player to different types of music.

Technology • Traditionally it can be hard for these people to access the technology. • Cheap Symbian, Android and Firefox OS devices allow access to the internet and games to those who can’t afford a conventional computer or broadband internet connection. • Flash games can also be made for low costs and distributed to those with a computer.
