Highlights of achievement (1/3) • Updated D.000, Terms and Definitions, in particular to add a definition of “hubbing” • Revised D.50, International Internet Connection and approved a Supplement • Revised D.93, Charging and accounting in the international land mobile telephone service (provided via cellular radio systems) • Five new Supplements related to avoiding disputes regarding billing

Highlights of achievement (2/3) • New Supplement to D.211, Guidelines for international short message service (SMS) termination • Revised D.170, Monthly telephone and telex accounts  • Revised D.195, Time-scale for settlement of accounts for international telecommunication services  • New Annexes to D.156, Network externalities

  7. Highlights of achievement (3/3) • New Recommendation D.98 on Charging in International Mobile Roaming Service • The Regional Groups submitted contributions to CWG-WCIT regarding the International Telecommunication Regulations

Future work (1/2) • Development of charging and accounting/settlement mechanisms for international telecommunications services using the Next Generation Networks (NGNs) and any possible future development • Development of charging and accounting/settlement mechanisms for other international telecommunications services • Improvement of daily operations: continuing work on avoiding billing disputes

Future work (2/2) • Study of economic and policy factors relevant to the efficient provision of international telecommunication services • Regional studies for the development of cost models together with related economic and policy issues • Continued studies of international mobile roaming tariffs
