  3. DEP experiment with MicrosphereMovement control on Single Grid Goal To demonstrate the proof of principle To find optimum nDEP frequency & amplitude Procedures 1. Isolate individual Microsphere 2. Handle with pulling pipette 3. Place onto MEA 4. Apply AC signal on MEA 5. Record a movie

  4. DEP with MicrosphereMovement control on Dual Grids Goal To pass a microsphere between grids Procedures 1. Locate a microsphere on Grid 1 2. Apply nDEP until bead reaches the centre 3. Turn off the nDEP 4. Wait until the microsphere moves to Grid 2 5. Turn on the nDEP field on the Grid 2
