  8. CLINICAL • Please read the chapters related to the first lecture before your clinical experience. • For students at RWJ, please meet your clinical instructor in the lobby closest to the Maternity pavilion (near the emergency department).

Also please bring in your registration number and make and model of your car for a parking permit. • You will obtain an ID on the first day of clinical. If you have a UMCP ID, please bring it with you. • Please do not bring large books, backpacks, or valuables. There is not an area where these can be stored safely.

  10. CLINICAL • Refer to the Student Handbook as to what you are expected to bring to your clinical experience. • For those students at UMCP, I will send an e-mail requesting your scrub size. I will need this information by January 14 for Session I. For those at RWJ, scrubs will be given at clinical.

  11. CELL PHONE USE • PLEASE, CELL PHONES ARE NOT A PART OF YOUR CLINICAL EXPERIENCE! • MANY HOSPITALS BAN THEIR USE BY STAFF. We follow the policies of the institution and the Nursing Program.
