Web Designer • Web Designers with HTML and multimedia skills - networking, HTML, Perl, CGI, Flash, JavaScript and Java skills in demand. • Web database skills very important • Lot of jobs are with small firms • Need to keep skills up to date • Starting salaries for 2009 Kent Multimedia graduates entering web design/development typically ranged from £16K to £20K, averaging about £18k. • Good area for self employment www.kent.ac.uk/careers/selfemployment.htm
