  1. Slime-O-Rific

  2. This is a fun, educational experiment that makes for a great way to spend family time. In this experiment, you will learn to make glow in the dark slime together! This is a wonderful way to have fun, spend time together, and learn about the science and processes behind making slime, all while meeting an Indiana Academic standard!   3. This Experiment meets the following Indiana Academic Standards and Science Process Skills: • Science Standard 5.2.7: • Read and follow step-by-step instructions while learning new procedures. • Science Process Skills: • Observing • Measuring • Communicating

  4. To Make Glow-In-The-Dark Slime You Will Need: • Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons • 1/4 Cup White Glue • 1 1/4 Cup Water, Divided • 1 tbsp. Borax • (Found in the laundry detergent aisle of your grocery store.) • Glow in the Dark Paint • (Found at craft stores for about $1.99.)

  5. Recipe For Glow-In-The-Dark Slime: • Add 1 tbsp. Borax to one cup of warm water. • Stir until completely dissolved. • Add several drops of glow in the dark paint during mixing. • Make a 50% water 50% white glue solution. • Take 1/4 cup of each and mix thoroughly. • In a Ziploc bag In a ziploc bag, add equal parts of the borax solution to equal parts of the glue solution. (Half cup of each will make a cup of slime.)
