Environnemental commitment Thanks to technological innovations in the Telecom industry, Linkcom designed “Smart Eco Link” products enabling our clients to use their own tools (mobile phone, and PC) to concentrate many functionalities through one device in order to reduce energy consumption. At the same time, the company reduced the use of copper wire. Here are few examples for how we contribute to decrease greenhouse gas emissions: Our GSM Key makes it possible to control from a mobile phone the access to a car park. Therefore remote-control devices are not needed and it reduces the production of batteries. Our Link E-FAX is able to send and receive faxes from and to your workstation which reduces significantly the use of paper and ink Our GSM Gateways offer a wireless connexion for rural telephony Some of our products such as Walkie-Talkies and more particularly the FX-600 SUN are innovative and environmentally friendly, they recharges through solar energy. Essential accessory for hiking and in many situations, the Walkie-Talkie finally becomes eco-friendly. Environnemental commitment The configuration and maintenance of our products are carried out at distance consequently, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced. 80% of LINKCOM’s products, GSM Gateways, access control, M2M are manufactured in Europe. It enables our company to reduce the use of energy-consuming transport and consequently, it reduces greenhouse gas emission comparing to imported products from Asia. Our products are in compliance with the RoHS directive. Since 2006, this directive restricts the use of 6 hazardous materials in the manufacturing of various types of electronic and electrical equipment, notably lead, mercury and cadmium. It reinforces the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) on the recycling of products sold in Europe. LINKCOM pays an “eco-contribution tax” for every product marketed in France to environmentally friendly recycle our products.
