The watch movement and case are completely taken apart, cleaned, inspected, damaged and worn parts are replaced, lubricated and adjusted properly.
This caseback has many previous service marks in it. In the old days, case marks were scratched into the metal of the caseback. Today we use indelible ink. The following few pics are of these old case marks.
