  3. The only life she knows: A girl of 10 shows what is left to her after her family members were killed during fighting among criminal fundamentalists in Kabul (October, 1992)

  4. This school was burnt by Jehadi fundamentalists in Kabul during their fighting with each other when they entered Kabul in 1992.

  5. A woman who was raped • Shukria, mother of four, was gang-raped to death by fundamentalist savages "fighting for the promotion of the Word of Allah". She was abducted on May 23, 1993 and her blood-drenched semi-naked body was found after 55 days in Khairkhana, Kabul.

  6. Aug.14, 1998: A Taliban fighter with the amputated limbs of the victims paraded through the streets of Kabul.

  8. A literacy course for young students in Khwaja Ghar district of Takhar province. These girls were not allowed to attend school during the Taliban rule and now they have to learn reading and writing in the RAWA course before school are started.
