This study examines the co-relationship between students' learning motivation, learning satisfaction, and learning achievement in physical education courses in private junior colleges in North Taiwan. Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), will be utilized to explore the research hypotheses and framework.

Introduction • Motivation has been viewed as a key factor influencing student learning outcomes (Chen, 2001). • In the educational domain, research on motivation is mainly concerned with how personal and environmental factors involved in the teaching and learning process and energized student learning and achievement (Chen, 2001).

Introduction In Martin’s (1988) study of physical education curriculum satisfaction, it indicates that students will lose interest and enthusiasm if they do not feel satisfied with the physical education courses; in contrast, the experience of satisfaction will lead to continued participation and increased input activities.

  5. Method Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies are applied in this study. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) will be used to construct behavioral intentions and to examine the research hypotheses and the research framework.
