  3. Highly Heat Resistant Virgin coconut oil is cold-pressed as well as stable enough to withstand heat induced damage while cooking and hence the nutrients in the oil are preserved. Vegetable oils like olive oil are not cold-pressed and consist of a chemical structure that is susceptible to heat damage.

  4. Contain MCT’s or MCFA’s Virgin Coconut oil consists of medium-chain triglycerides or medium-chain fatty acids which are smaller in structure and are easily digested by the body. These fatty acids are converted into energy by the body and not stored as fat. Vegetable oils contain long chain fatty acids(LCT’s) that are larger and difficult to break down, thereby adding to the toxic burden in the body.

  5. Lauric Acid- The Secret Ingredient Lauric acid (found in mother’s milk) is a compound that forms 50% of virgin coconut oil. Once lauric acid is digested, it forms a compound called Monolaurin that has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-protozoal properties. Vegetable oils does not contain lauric acid and lack the properties of virgin coconut oil. They are less productive than VCO for the body.
