  2. Project Details • Pedestrian bridge crossing Highway 93, located in Pablo, MT on the Flathead Indian Reservation • 265-foot span links the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribe Complex and the Salish Kootenai College

  3. Sustainable Design Features • Wood deck is renewable and lightweight and it saved steel and money • Native plants require minimal maintenance or water • Safe access encourages non-motorized transportation

  4. Unique Design Features • Two landings at each end are enclosed in stylized tipi steel frame structures. • Each tipi is over 60 feet tall and constructed from eight 12-inch diameter pipes to form a reciprocal frame. • The two exposed tipi frames at each end symbolize the Salish and Kootenai tribes that co-exist on the CSKT reservation.
