NC Tracks Update • Deployed July 1 - on schedule • Successful first checkwrite on July 9, including multiple claims types (not just pharmacy, as planned) • Completed 7 successful checkwrite cycles • Over 15 million claims processed and more than $1B provider payments to date • Overcame or improved on several operational issues, including: • System performance • Call center performance • Hold time reduced from over 1 hour to average of 10 minutes • Length of call decreased from 17 minutes to average of 12 minutes • Claims approval rates improved significantly as providers learned more about taxonomy

  3. NC Tracks Update • Provider outreach including claims and billing assistance seminars, and webinars on taxonomy, prior approval and enrollment • 70% of system defects identified since go-live have been resolved

NC Tracks Update Focus For Next 60 Days • Continue to Improve Call Center performance including knowledge level of agents • Streamline remittance advices, too long and sometimes difficult to decipher • Make it easier for providers to make routine changes to their profile • Process PAs faster and more efficiently • Continue educational webinars for medical associations and societies • Continue to help providers achieve higher claim approval rates by improving their knowledge of taxonomy
