  2. The ADDIE model provides a step-by-step process that helps training specialists plan and create training programs. It is used to maximize the effectiveness, efficiency, and appeal of training and the learning experience. The ADDIE model was used in the framework for helping create new research topics in learning technology.

  3. Where did ADDIE come from? ADDIE first appeared in 1975. It was created by the Center for Educational Technology at Florida State University for the U.S. Armed Forces.

  4. ADDIE Model • The ADDIE model is a systematic instructional design model consisting of five phases :

  5. A nalyzeesignevelopmentmplementation valuate D A D I E

  6. Analysis Phase In this phase, the goals and objectives are found and the learning environment, learner’s existing knowledge and skills are identified.

  7. Design Phase The design phase is to identify, develop and evaluate strategies for attaining the projects goals. It design’s the user interface and user experience. It creates examples and applies visual designs.

  8. Development Phase In the development phase, instructional designers and developers create and assemble the plan that was composed in the design phase. The storyboards and graphics are designed and modified.

  9. Implementation Phase In this phase, a procedure for training the learners is developed. The training should cover the course curriculum, learning outcomes, method of delivery, and testing procedures. Then the project is put to the test.

  10. Evaluation Phase This phase consists of two parts: formative evaluation (The project is being tested and they modify it to make it better and summative evaluation (the overall performance of the project and receives feedback).

  11. The ADDIE instructional design model is possibly the best-known instructional design model to design and develop a project. It is mainly used to estimate a training or guide a project. Thanks to the Addie Model, planning a project is much convenient and easier.
