  2. Governor of Maine: John Baldacci Formerly served 4 terms in the United States Congress. 4-year term, elected in 2002. Eligible for re-election in ’06.

  3. United States Senator: • Olympia Snowe Republican, Auburn. In her 3rd 6-year term in US Senate First elected to Congress in 1978. Spouse of former Maine Governor John McKernon.

  4. United States Senator • Susan Collins Republican, Caribou. Elected in 1996, re-elected in ’02.

  5. Our Congressman:2nd Congressional District Mike Michaud Democrat. Former paper mill worker. The largest Congressional district east of the Mississippi River. Represents Jay, L/A, W/W, B/B, etc.

  6. Congressman: 1st Congressional district : • Tom Allen 3rd Term in Congress. Democrat. Former Mayor of Portland.
