  1. Nahum 1:7 7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him

  3. The church in Escobedo started 21 years ago. The original meetings were held in the house of the first preacher. Some time later, the church acquired the land where we now meet. Thanks to God, during all of these years there have been three preachers in front of the congre-gation. Each one in a different time. My wife and I arrived in Escobedo on August 5th 2000.

  4. During this time God has blessed us by giving us the opportunity to be witnesses |to baptisms, to fellowship with Brothers who have returned to the church after of a time of being away, and to see Brothers leave our congregation to meet with churches in other locations. We look forward to the day that is approaching in which we will realize the blessing of having Elders and Deacons in the church.

  5. We meet in the building on Sundays at 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. We participate in the communion and we hear a sermon.

  6. The first hour of the service, we separate into classes The Children Have Their Class

  7. The Middle Schoolers Have Their Class

  8. The Teens Have Their Class

  9. We have music class every other Saturday and at the end of the service on the first Sunday of the month.

  10. On Tuesdays we have begun to meet in the homes of the members. Especially those of the Brethren who are not consistently attending services.

  11. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we meet at the building

  12. On the first Sunday of the month, a fellowship meal is held with the goal of bringing the Brethren closer together and achieving more confidence and closeness among the members.

  13. The Women Have Classes

  14. The Men Also Have Their Class On The Topic Of Leadership

  15. During the month we meet to continue the construction of the building.

  16. Plans For This Year • Continue preparing for and having activities for children in order to help them to know more about God and to achieve the goal of having more children in the congregation. • Have activities for the teens and young adults.

  17. Plans For This Year 3. Continue to encourage Ruth, Sari, Carlos, Karina, Isamar, and Mónica to be baptized. Each one of them is preparing themselves to be baptized. 4. Continue evangelizing around the building. 5. Continue preparing the men with topics associated with leadership.

  18. Plans For This Year 6. Continue with the construction of the building. 7. Visit orphanages and nursing homes with the goal of helping those in need.
