  3. SASC Values Everyone has the right to live in a society free from violence. Everyone has the right to be treated with respect and dignity. Working together with others in our community is essential to ending violence and creating a healthy community: “No one is free while others are oppressed.” Feminism, anti-oppression and recognition of intersectionalities of oppression influence our work.

Anyone, regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status, or geographic location is at risk of sexual assault • However, the majority of sexual assault survivors are: • Women • Between the ages of 15-24 • People with disabilities • Low income or marginalized populations
