Grant Program • Eligible Communities • Counties: Daviess County, Dubois County, Gibson County, Greene County, Johnson County, Knox County, Lawrence County, Martin County, Monroe County, Morgan County, Owen County, Pike County, Vanderburgh County, and Warrick County • Cities/Towns: Bedford, Bloomfield, Bloomington, Ellettsville, Evansville, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Linton, Loogootee, Martinsville, Mooresville, Oakland City, Petersburg, Princeton, Spencer, Vincennes, and Washington

Program Overview Planning for the Interstate Grant Program Toolbox Community Updates Grant Program • Seed money to begin planning • Base grants = $40K per community • Promote economic development • Manage growth • Enhance local planning capacity • All projects had to promote natural resource protection • Eligible activities include plans, ordinances and other legal planning instruments

Program Overview Planning for the Interstate Grant Program Toolbox Community Updates Grant Program • Minimizing Administrative Requirements • Added OCRA as a partner • Program similar to the programs administered by OCRA – tap into ongoing relationships already established with the eligible communities • Operating under OCRA’s simpler administrative processes • Use state funds (rather than federal funds)
