Organization of African Unity (OAU)
  • In the past countries from eroupe like rissia and great Brittan and france have had control of Africa. One of the effects of imperism was Africa lost it traditions. Eroupean belived in the white mans berdan witch mean they thought they were better. The eroupeans to Africa for natural rescores such as gold, oil , dimonds. Many of the Africans were put in slavery for example the belgins forced people to collect rubber and give to them and if they didn’t come back with enough rubbner there hands were cut off.

  • The Organization of African Unity was setup in 1963 in Addis Abeba. In the beging the oau had 32 independent Member States. Today this group includes 53 members country from all around Africa. This group is an example of pan-africanism.this group wants untiy among countries from afrca, and create a better life for every one living in afrca., to protect ther independence , end colonism and to have intermation cororations.
