The Tantallon Safe Arrival program is in need of parent volunteers for both the Senior and Junior buildings.
The Safe Arrival program has been an integral part of classroom daily attendance to ensure the students of Tantallon Elementary are safe and accounted for on a daily basis. Parents are required to call the Safe Arrival Message line to report the absence of their child.
The role of the Safe Arrival Volunteer is to check the messages against the daily attendance. If a student is not in class and a call has not been received, calls to the missing students contacts will be made by the office until a reason for the absence in determined.
We are looking for volunteers to commit to one day/week for the year:
Senior Building: Monday 845-9am, Tuesday 845-9am, Wednesday 845-9am
Junior Building: Tuesday 845-9am
