  1. Adaptations By Ashley

  2. Bald Eagles • Eagles live all over the world, except in cold places. • Adaptation 1: They are found in deserts, woodlands, and rainforests. They build nests in trees. • Adaptation 2: They also have strong beaks to tear their food apart and they even have sharp claws to kill their prey.

  3. Falcons • Falcons live in mostly every habitat. They build nests on rocky cliffs. Some falcons live in cities. • Adaptation 1: They can kill their prey with just their sharp claws. • Adaptation 2: Falcons have excellent vision that is twice as good as a human’s. This helps them find their prey.

  4. Sugar Glider • They live in the trees of Australia. They leap from tree to tree. • Adaptation 1: They chatter loudly when a group of them are in danger. • Adaptation 2: They bark like dogs and chirp like birds to warn others when predators are near.

  5. Skunks • They make homes in warm areas. • Adaptation 1: They have smelly oil underneath their tails to protect themselves when an enemy is near. • Adaptation 2: They spray the oil so the enemy will go away.
