  2. Once you see it you’ll believe it! You don’t sweep the dirt from your floors under the rug, so why would you let dust sit on your computer? Use the tips in this PowerPoint to help your computer stay in tip top shape. Ewww! Dust!

  4. Why computer maintenance? Built up dust and infected files can severely damage and even completely ruin you computer. The steps below will maintain your hard drive and software. • Scan disk • Checks for viruses • Errors in hard drive • Computers operates smoothly

  5. Why computer maintenance? (cont.) Disk Defragmentator • Rearranges files • Speeds up computers access speeds • Disk cleanup • Deletes files no longer being used • These files slow computer’s actions • Targets temporary files and recycle bin
