  3. Common Misconceptions • Computers increase academic achievement • Better schools have a very small student to computer ratio • Computers prepare students for the world of work

Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school. -Albert Einstein Technology Integration Models • Elementary Technology Integration Project (eTIP) • Project involves three to four teachers per campus • Group develops technology rich lessons that promote higher order thinking • Sharing of those lessons occurs on campus within grade level teams

  7. Technology Integration Plan • Meetings with key personnel (Sept, Nov, Jan) • Plan will be aligned with Campus and District Improvment • Plan to be reviewed by District Administrators in February • Plan ready for approval by March school board meeting
