Background Information • Ercot Load Profiling received closely related data requests from IMM and PUCT project on energy conservation potential • IMM interested in analyzing the relationship between load growth in specific geographic areas with congestion • PUCT interested in load growth by profile type, size, location • Results of these data requests are repackaged for PWG informational purposes

  3. Background Information • IMM requested tabulations for specific geographic areas Abilene, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Galveston, Houston, Laredo, McAllen, Midland/Odessa, Temple/Killeen, Waco • Pulled NIDR/IDR usage histories from 2002 forward for these areas excluding non metered • Classified ESIIDs by current profile assignment • Profiled NIDR usage with current profile models • Calculated calendar year/month kWh and kW at Ercot peak for each ESIID • Totaled by Residential and Business profile segment and • Subtotaled by profile type to the geographic area level
