U of M Chapter MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the U of M ASABE chapter is to provide a professional and social outlet for students to network with professors, graduate students, professionals and peers. The goal of this chapter is to provide opportunities for experiential learning through field visits, industry tours and guest speakers.

  4. Mentor Program GOAL: Help lower division students make connections in the major and succeed during their first two years at the University Each participating lower division student will be paired with an upper division student

  6. Winter Shindig • Watch for information—coming before the end of the semester! • Come eat some tasty treats, meet other ASABE members, and hear about some of the awesome stuff we’ve been up to

  7. “Troubled Waters” • Movie Night!

  8. Tour of the St. Paul Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant • Learn about the biological components of one of the largest wastewater treatment facilities in the country—right here in St. Paul!

  9. Biweekly Meetings • Speakers, business, food, and networking • Presentations by professors, students, and professionals at every meeting

  10. Spring Canoe Trip • Explore the St. Croix Scenic River Way Preservation Area by canoe
