'Voices' publication for 2011: based on quotations taken from interviews Target group - samples of people with substance use problems in treatment or outside of treatment services Quotations – can be found in published or grey literature, reports from treatment services and reports from outreach services and non-government organisations Objective is to: • provide very personal accounts of a problem from the perspective of the individuals involved • provide deeper understanding of salient and diverse issues for people who are trying to reduce or quit their substance use • highlight some key similarities and differences among such people • inform the creation of more innovative, holistic and effective responses
