  1. absurd: adj-so unreasonable as to be laughable; foolish or silly. You’d look absurd in a suit and tie at the beach.

  2. Accomplish: v- to complete successfully. I know I will accomplish these tasks by noon.

  3. Accomplishment: n- something requiring skill and/or determination completed successfully.. Helen Keller’s huge accomplishment was to learn how to read and speak.

  4. Experiment: n- a test to prove or discover something. The experiment shows that oxygen and hydrogen combine to form water.

  5. Experiment: v- to carry out experiments.* to try out new ideas or activities. Ex: Benjamin Franklin experimented with a kite to show that lightning was a form of electricity. *The chef experimented with a new recipe.

  6. Flimsy: adj- not strongly made; easily damaged or broken. The cart was too flimsy to carry such a heavy load.

  7. * Not believable Saying your dog ate your homework is a flimsy excuse for not turning in your homework.
