  30. BEDROCK • Harder bedrock are more resistant to weathering and erosion and form high cliffs and hills. • Softer bedrock is less resistant to erosion and form valleys. Resistance of rock means it doesn’t erode easily. Harder rock resists erosion more than softer rock.

  32. CLIMATE • Warm climates generally speed up weathering • Cold climates have ice erosion • Dry climates – angular features & steep slopes • Wet climates – smooth features & rolling hills
