DEQ Calls, Inspections Complaints • T-80644 (6am) – large yellow cloud coming from small stack at Exxon • T-80663 (10:35) – open burning in Livingston Parish • T-80696 (11:20) – PO release from railcar in Geismar • T-80708 (Noon) – odors from Woodside landfill • T-80675 (16:43) - air burning eyes and throat in Baker

  5. Calls, Inspections (continued) Inspection at BRRF • No reportable releases, startup/shutdowns, or other unusual events. Gasoline barge loaded at 9am. Inspection at Enterprise – nothing unusual Inspection at LSU • Cogen undergoing startups/shutdowns for maintenance, Vet/Med boiler tested on 7/22, Allison turbine shutdown/restarted on 7/22. LSU will submit a summary report. • Large field mowed with tractor on 7/22

  6. Plant Reports Dow • Marine activity – toluene, pyrolysis gas, octene, benzene (all closed dome) • Flaring – methane/hydrogen on 7/21 at 12:25, methane hydrogen on 7/22 at 6:15 DSM • vessel cleaning but past stage where emissions could be vented • TNMOC strike on 7/21 with North wind

Plant Reports (continued) Enterprise – 9 trigger events on 7/21-22 • 7/21, 4 events – pentene, hexane, butene • 7/22, 5 events - hexane, ETBZ, i-butane BRCP/BRRF-nothing unusual, no triggers BRPO – no unusual activity, no triggers BRPP • Lines D and E down, Line G ran 4 hours • 2 trigger events – 1) 7/21, 2307 - hexane, BZ, 2MP, n-pentane, toluene; 2) 7/22, 0012 - ethylene (300ppb), n-butane

Plant Reports (continued) G6 – trigger: Carville on 7/21, 5am, WD 337 • BASF – unload xylene truck, isobutene to flare • Crompton – unloaded toluene truck • Shell – loaded C8 and C10 barges • Syngenta – HRVOC unit down • Vulcan – maintenance on 7/21 resulted in 0.42 tons of ethylene emissions • Williams – no unusual activity
