What is Bad Breath ? • Bad breath is a growing concern in oral hygiene • It affects more than 70% of the population worldwide • It can happen from Halitosis and other conditions • Halitosis, that affect 50% of the adult population (FDI World Dental),is caused primarily by bacteria and sulfur compounds that build up on the tongue • Dry mouth, medications, diet, gum diseases and smoking are factors that increase bad breath • Consumers spend billions of dollars worldwide on products to make their breath smell good

The Clinical Research A double blind randomized study of 75 patients with Halitosis The participants were treated with or without abrasive microcapsules containing Zinc gluconate, Propolis, a combination of both (Zinc, Propolis) The halitosis was assessed by Halimeter at 4 different points of time The study was conducted by Dr. Shlomo Barak, Director, Institute of Dentistry & Oral maxillofacial Surgery, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center with the Rappoport Faculty of Medicine, the Technion and Prof. Joseph Katz, Department of Oral Diagnostic Science , University of Florida College of Dentistry
