  2. Patient Description • Sudden illness, accident, breathing issues, no pulse, head/spinal injury, severe bleeding, pain in the chest or abdomen, vomiting or passing blood, poison ingestion, shock, cardiac arrest etc.

  3. Services Provided • Ambulatory care • Helicopter/ air transport • Emergency rescue • Emergency care clinics/ centers • Emergency departments inside hospitals • EMT treatment (Emergency Medical Technician)

  4. Co$t • Related to the severity of a patients’ illness or injury • The bill increases when extensive diagnostic testing and treatment is necessary

  5. Type of Employees • EMT (At hospitals, fire departments etc.) • Different levels: Basic, Intermediate, Paramedic • First responder • Other physicians as determined by case
