Background Information • Convention Site Chairs appointed by Chapter President to do preliminary study on hotel sites availability • October Request for Proposals were sent to area convention and visitors bureaus (Washington DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s County • Hotels proposals were received from 19 area hotels • Hotels proposals were ranked by the site finding committee and narrowed down to top six recommendations

  4. Ranking Criteria • Proposed Room Rate • Food and Beverages Minimum Requirements • Concessions • Local Amenities • Proximity to Washington DC and other local attractions • Parking Cost • Accessibility • Minimum costs to Alumna
