  2. CHOOSING TO BE ALCOHOL FREE Alcohol is addictive, physically damaging, and often an entry drug into other drug use. In reality alcohol is a lethal drug with harmful physical, mental social, and legal consequences. Ethanol the type of alcohol in alcoholic beverages a powerful addictive drug Fermentation- the chemical action of yeast on sugars Depressant- drug that slows he central nervous system Intoxication- the state in which the body is poisoned by alcohol or another substance and the persons physical and mental control is significantly reduced

  3. HARMFUL EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL USE BODY SIZE AND GENDER- A SMALLER PERSON FEELS THE EFFECTS OF ALCOLHOL FASTER THEN THAN A BIGGER PERSON DOES. THE ALCOHOL MOVES INTO WEMONS BLOOD STREEM FASTER THAN MENS. FOOD- FOOD IN THE PASSAGE SLOWS DOWN THE ENTERING OF ALCOHOL INTO THE BLOOD STREEM AMOUNT AND RATE OF INTAKE- THE MORE ALCOHOL YOU DRINK THE MORE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE RAISES. WHEN SOMEONE DRINKS TO FAST THEY WILL BECOME DRUNK FASTER, IF YOU DRINK TO MUCH YOU WILL GET DRUNK

  4. DRINKING RESPONSIBILITY When drinking one must remember to always drink in moderation. If you don’t how much is good you should drink 12 oz.of beer, 4 oz. of wine, 1.5 oz. of 80 proof sprits, and 1 oz. of 100 proof sprits.

  5. BINGE DRINKING When with your friends you will be challenged to drink and the risk of that is binge drinking-(drinking five or more alcoholic drinks at one sitting.) This could possibly lead to (alcohol poisoning-a severe and potentially fatal physical reaction to an alcohol overdose.)and could lead to death.

  6. GET HELP FOR YOUR SELF AND LOVED ONES When faced with the choice of being and staying addicted to alcohol. You should go and seek help for not just you but the ones around you who have the same problem. You could go to rehab for it or just get a life coach.

  7. LONG TURM EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL ON THE BODY Long term alcohol use can cause irreversible damage to your body such as liver damage, brain damage, problems with your heart,problems digesting food, pancreas problems. All can and will be fatal if you don’t take care of your body.
