Henry Moore Scholastic Article Summaries Due: 2/22/12 • At your table please choose one of the following article pages to summarize (5-7 sentences) in one paragraph in your sketch book: • Henry Moore: Figure Sculptor pages 2-3 • Inside the Helmet pages 4-5 • Monumental Figures pages 6-7 • Timeless Figures pages 10-11 • Modeling a Figure pages 14 -15 • Group Worksheet Handout (Fill in the blank) pg. 16

Henry Moore Scholastic Article Summaries Due: 2/22/12 • After completing summary, please share summary with classmates at table and have all classmates copy three main points of summary (Must be the same for all members) in sketchbook. • Turn in Sketchbooks and Group Worksheet Handout (Fill in the blank) pg. 16, and article copies, to teacher at the end of class 2/22/12.

Project Drawing SketchesDue: 2/24/12 • In abstract (abstract means having no specific objects in artwork , not a concrete idea or meaning ofageneral term)Henry Moore style draw and shade in pencil 5different figures. Each Figure should be at least half a page in size or bigger. • Drawings are due at the beginning of class 2/24/12. • You will be graded on: • Neatness • Size • Style • Shading

  5. Sculpture Critique3/9/12 • You will be graded on: • Neatness/ Craftsmanship • Size • Style/Shape difficulty • Color/Glaze • Participation/Effort • Written Critique Summary • Due at the end of class 3/9/12.
