Where a child has physical injury or symptom of neglect Contact Social Services directly If not great concern, speak to the parent Where emergency medical attention is necessary, speak to doctor Where there are allegations/concern of sexual abuse DO NOT tell the parents Contact Social Services Contact Police if do not get immediate response from Social Services RESPONDING TO CONCERNSDiscuss with person in your church who is responsible for child protection concerns.
