  6. Justification • National Data • What about CWU? 31% of women, and 15% of men have experienced some form of sexual violence since becoming a CWU student -CWU Safety Survey, spring 2009

Collecting CWU Student Data • WSU Safety Survey (electronic) • 1st completed in April 2005 • 1051 women, 1047 men, 3 transgender (WSU) • Results consistent with national samples • Tailored existing survey to CWU • Reports given to host school • Eventually statewide data • Currently WSU, Whitman, CWU, & EWU
