    • Exact wording in quotes with a citation

  • Reference to ideas, facts, and information:

    • Discussing, in your own words, the ideas, facts and information from another person’s work with a citation

    • Discuss facts and information broadly in relation to the entire work or idea

    • Intertwine facts from other work with your primary purpose and explain your reasoning for using specific facts and information

    • Use introductory or explanatory phrases to present ideas from other authors

    • Cite author and year in the text and include additional information in a reference section including author, year, title, journal, volume and issue number, pages.

    • Include your own ideas and reasoning but explain and support them with a logical rationale
