Written proclamation
Written Proclamation

People believed that Christ would come back in their lifetime

As witnesses of JC began to die they realized that the second coming of Christ was imminent

They began to preserve the words and life of Christ in written form

This left it open to interpretation, omission, and distortions.

Formal records were needed to tell a more accurate account of Christ.
