  17. Determination of Pesticide Residues The MOEW established a reference pesticide laboratory accredited by UKAS. UAE is applying intensive tests to measure pesticide residues on imported fruits and vegetables. Imported fruits and vegetables of higher MRL were detained to protect our population from harmful effects of pesticide residues.
