Toensurethe optimaldevelopmentforallplayers the TSM has designeda comprehensivemodel forlong term developmentwhichintegratesallaspectsof the game. The Total Soccer Method is a dynamic, progressive, playerorientedandbasedon the decision making model.

  3. Total Soccer Method Toclarifyhow the methodis buildup we are using a pyramide. The bottomlayers or building blocksare notmore important then the top onesbecausetheyare broader. Eachbuilding block is equallyimportant but the shapeof the pyramideshows that we are workingtowardssomething. The first five building blocks are training. The sixth top is the game. We are working towards execution of whatwe train, learnanddevelopin training intoa game.(decision making) The top of the pyramideis the smallestbut notthe leastimportant. Eachbuilding block has equalvalueandimportanceandtheyinfluenceandoverlap eachother. The key is todeterminewhat building block(s) shouldbeemphasized in what fase of players’ developmental stage.

  4. Total Soccer Method In thispresentation we focus on the building block Game Mastery. In this building block, Team Tactical training is a major component.
