  4. The words holiday or vacation have related meanings in different english speakingcountries and continents, but it usually refers to one of the following activities or events: Official religious/national/cultural/other significance, often accompanied by celebrations (public/religious holiday) A general leave of absence from a regular occupation for rest or recreation. A specific trip or journey for the purposes of recreation and tourism. A holiday or vacation trip/break will often be undertaken during specific holiday observances, or be made for specific festivals or celebrations. Certain religious holidays may be of a more somber nature. Vacation or holidays are often used as a time to spend with friends or family.

He buys the brooch and takes it home. He wraps the present in Christmas paper and places it under the tree. He is very excited and he is looking forward to Christmas morning to see the joy on his mother's face. But when his mother opens the present she screams with fright because she sees a spider.

In my country Doiurtur do not celebrate this event, but we have something like a hannoegee party. Doiurtur wear something like a Kimono, and then they go in the nekkhgy. When they go in the nekkhgy , they have to sing at each house. If they don't sing, then the people in the house don't give a treat to them . They go back to their house when they have many snacks. Our celebrations are very similar. hannoegee is on October 31st. And Japanese event is onJuly 7th.
