  20. Ethos and Approach It is vital to prepare students for their future. All students have access to good quality university and careers advice. However, the world is changing at a rapid pace. Students need to be adaptive; they need to be creative and courageousand encouraged to think globally. Their personal development is as vital as their examination results. We have a duty to provide our students with a range of opportunities which will allow them to develop these skills. In return, we expect our students to be involvedin the life of the College and the Collegiate. We expect them to take part in extra-curricular activities and assume leadership responsibilities.

You will need to achieve no more than a grade below your MTG in internal Year 12 exams in June 2016 in order to progress to Year 13 Year 13 Complete your 3 or 4 A Level courses with PPEs in February 2017 and all public examinations in June 2017. Level 3 Vocational Route • Five or more GCSE passes at the highest grades (A*-C) • A*-B in GCSE PE (for Sport) and in GCSE Business/ICT (for Business) • A*-C in GCSE English and Mathematics (students who have not achieved this will be required to resit the examination) • Either BTEC in Sport • or Cambridge National Diploma in Business • Year 12Follow the relevant course with formal internal assessment towards the end of Year 12 to decide on progression to Year 13 • Year 13 Continue with and complete the relevant course.
