  2. LINE Lines can be straight, curved, zigzag or wavy. They can vary in length, thickness and direction, and they can be used to express emotions and movement.

  3. Lines can be organic (soft, curved, flowing)

  4. Lines can also be inorganic (straight, mechanical, structural)

  5. Line and Direction The three basic directions of line are: Horizontal Vertical Diagonal Suggests rest, calm and Suggests being active, Suggest movement, movement from side to side alert, strong and formal energy and action
