  1. Senior English 2/28/11 • Why do I want you to learn new thinking skills? Why do I care? • How do crazy people find their way in the forest? • Pox and piles – curse from the middle ages. Goals –Complete the structuring of your arguments and rebuttals. Homework – Write an outline of your role for class tomorrow. I will be putting points in the book.

  2. Senior English 3/1/11 • How important is money in your life? • How does a spoiled boy change the oil in his car? • Riggafrutch – means nothing but sounds nasty. Goals – Practice speaking and timing your parts for the debate within your team. Homework – none.

Senior English 3/2/11 • What do you think is the single biggest problem in our legal system today? • What do prisoners use to call each other? • Umslopogus – fictional name should be a curse word. Goals –Complete the structuring of your arguments and rebuttals. Practice with your team, take feedback, finalize notes. Homework – Practice for your debate tomorrow.

Why? • What do you call Santa’s Helpers? • Umslopogus – another word that means nothing but should be used instead of swearing. Goals – Let the debate begin! Homework – Don’t forget to study for vocab. quiz #25.
