  6. First KFUPM Workshop on Engineering Design, April 11-12, 2006 3 international invited speakers. More than 100 faculty participated.

  7. Co-organized the 3nd IEEE-GCC conference in Bahrain on 20-23 March 2006. More than 650 researchers from 18 countries participated with 100 papers.

  8. Foundation of Two technology groups in the Mechanical Engineering Department: Nano Technology Focus Group Turbomachinery Technology group
