INTRODUCTION • I will be testing to see if food coloring does anything to use. • I will trying on growing soy beans which I will watch every day. • I'm doing this to see will food coloring really does noting to someone. • If it does do something thing to the plants like make them smaller, kill them or anything else then I would no that something is going on with the food coloring.; Dennis Danaw

  3. Problem/Purpose • The problem is to see if different food coloring will affect plate life. • I will also like to see if mixing the food coloring like putting red and blue and watering the plant will make a different. • To also see if just giving them food coloring not mixed with water will affect them. Dennis Danaw

  4. Question • The question I want to answer is will food coloring do anything to the plants like make them grow make then small or make them die or not do anything at all. Dennis Danaw

  5. Hypothesis • Hypothesis: I think that the food coloring will have no effect on the plants. • I think mixing the color will have no affect on them. • I think when I give them the food coloring just alone they will die. Dennis Danaw

  6. Variables • Independent: • Give each plant different color of water. • To mix the food coloring(like red and blue) and water the plants with it • To just give them the food coloring not mixed with water. • Dependent: • I will measure the height of the plants every week and see which one grows the most. • Control Group: • The plant that gets no food coloring. Dennis Danaw

  7. Experimental • Procedures: • I will get 7 seeds and bury them. • Every day I will give ½ cup of water for 2 plants and the water is going to be the red food coloring. • Every day I will give 2 plants ¼ cup of food coloring. • Every day I will give 2 plants ½ cup of red and blue food coloring mixed with the water. • I will give them the same amount every day for 4 weeks I will take their heighted every week and save the data.
