Kevin Dhinsa

Kevin Dhinsa of Hamilton police told reporters after the decision came down that police received over 70 complaints in regards to the mortage broker's conduct, but couldn't pursue them all. He also pleaded guilty to fraud in regards to some charges back in 2018 and received a suspended sentence. Kevin Dhinsa called the case a "very sad situation," noting that at one point, Khanna owned well over 100 properties in Hamilton. "The people coming forward were so desperate that they shouldn't have gotten a loan in the first place," Kevin Dhinsa said.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/khanna-trial-1.5024844
